I got a TL-SG108E easy smart switch in order to setup a vlan which will separate my insecure guest wifi from my lan for security reasons as follows:-

switch port layout

port 1 - internet

port 3 guest wifi

port 2,4-8 lan devices eg pc, nas etc


so i though i could setup a simple port based vlan for example:-

vlan 1 - port 1 - port 3 (Internet and guest wifi)
vlan 2 - port 1 - port 2 port 4-8 (internet and lan devices)

but in port based you are unable to use a port more than once so i cant share the internet on port 1

i assume then i have to use 802.1q (tag)

could anybody explain how to set this up as the manual is more a function guide than a tutorial.
