still happening when a friend comes over and connects his laptop and phone, only the wifi drops while wired connection works fine

@Joseph-TP sorry for the late reply, the lights stays on, on the extender, only happens when a friend comes over and connects his laptop and phone to the WiFi, after restarting the main router...

for some reason at random times the RE205 loses its internet connection and i have to restart the main router to fix it, this is quite annoying specially throughout the day when the problem first...

@woozle well that is unfortunate, ill make another post to help solve the issue im having to keep things clean
