Unable to get EAP772 to connect at 2.5GB

Hi, I have an Omada 2210x-m2 and an Omada EAP 772. When I plug the 772 into the 2210x it only negotiates to 1GB, not 2.5 GB. I have a brand new cat 6 cable. I have the latest firmware on both devices.
