Hopefully a simple question to answer, however I see no way to do this.

All firewalls have the ability to block traffic on certain ports, it seems the default for the C60 that all outbound traffic is allowed.
How can I block outbound traffic on a specific port (in this case port 53 - dns)

You may do it with some other routers such as WR841N, or Archer C7. You can set the white list rule, host 192.168.0.2--192.168.0.254, target IP opendns sever, port 53. http://www.tp-link.com/faq-561.html
