Hello everyone,

I have problems with my "TP-Link N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit VDSL2 Modem Router Model No. TD-W9980".

Firmware and hardware versions are:
Firmware Version:0.6.0 1.13 v0021.0 Build 160125 Rel.52064n
Hardware Version:TD-W9980 v1 00000001

I get limited connectivity every day, ALWAYS while gaming after maybe using the pc for hours without any problem (with also 1-2 phones connected). Then I am not even able to open the router page on the browser. The WiFi remains up but also the phones get limited connectivity. All the lights look normal on the router. I have to reboot the router and then everything goes back normal immediately. It never happens within short periods of time after a reboot. Always after at least a few hours, like 1 or 2 times per day.

I tried to tune the settings, I called the ISP but nothing works.

Any suggestion?

Can anybody help? :(

Update: During the tests I even tried to find the WiFi of the router from an other phone that never connected before to the local network. It doesn't allow me to connect, but as said above after rebooting the router everything works fine again until the next disconnection. So it's absolutely a problem of the device.

Did you try reset and reconfigure the modem? It seems the modem died since you cannot even log into the interface. Can contact TP-LINK support and see what's happening on the modem. Call the 24*7 hotline or go to online chat for help.
