Is there some updated drivers for Fedora 26. The drivers that came with the device are severely out dated, and all the other drivers I found are throwing errors.

uname -r
Linux 4.12.9-300.fc26.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Aug 25 13:09:43 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Not sure if it is compatible, it says Linux (Kernel version 2.6~3.16) on the official website.

Yep, I saw that. It's such an old kernel that I was hoping it was wrong. I have seen some third party drivers and heard of some that were able to get it working, but I can not find the post now. I should have known though that TP-LInk would not support this in the current kernel.

tplink+linux = epic fail everytime.

I bought an Alfa and all my issues are solved.
