Hi,

My Archer VR2600 only allows YouTube and Google searches to pass through when using my brand new Dell XPS 15 laptop. When I swap the Archer back to my old Netgear router the problem goes away. Similarly, at other people's houses and at work I have no problems.

I tried a USB 3.0 to Gigabit network adaptor and found no problems there also. So I only have a problem with the Dell running wi-fi on the Archer.

I have heard that the Killer wireless module in the Dell could be the problem, but I have no issues with the Dell on anything but the Archer router.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Tim.

As I know, the "killer issue" is, when the device running killer adater join in the wifi network, router will crash. And the known model are Archer C7 and Archer D7. Not hear about the VR2600 yet.
You can try to setup the DNS server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on the Dell laptop ( or change the DNS server from VR2600), to see if it helps.
