i use debian 9.1 and virtualized kali on vmware.

I have a wn722n V2 usb wireless adapter

and said me "the V2 version does not support monitor mode".

is this true? if it's true what should i do ?

Whether it supports monitor mode or not depends on the adater chip set, which is RTL8188EUS-VG-CG. You can surf the internet to figure it out
