Greetings Members!

I am asking for help with an issue with my Archer VR2600v: I use the system as Access Point; therefore it is connected to the real router (not the Modem!) by LAN, which is connected to the Internet. The Archer is set as WLAN Router, the Advanced - Network - LAN Setting is set to a static IP and the DCHP-Server is deactivated.

The VR2600v is not able to access the internet: The interface shows the Internet as not connected and services, which need the Internet, like VoIP, can not access the Internet (Added Numbers show a grey cross as status). An automatic update was not possible and rejected with the error: No internet. Contrary, devices connected with the VR2600v, like my PC, can access the internet via the Archer without problems.

Many Thanks for your support!

If you need to use VOIP function, the device should be a NAT device, Access point mode is not a NAT device, you can set it up as wireless router and connect your original router to the LAN/WAN port, then see if it works.
