Hi guys,

A friend of mine recently gave me his old range extender model TL-WA854RE(EU) and I found the installation manual online but I can't get the LED light of Wireless to change to "solid on", it keeps blinking. I plugged it literally next to my router.

What is the version? Different version has different light status. On some versions, the wireless light should be blinking. If you can see your TP-LINK_Extender wifi signal on your devices, then you can try to install it.
