I'm considering getting the M7650. I was wondering - can the 2.4GHz & 5GHz WIFI be used simultaneously - one user connecting through a standard using 2.4 GHz and another through a standard using 5 GHz?

emm, it's not. either 2.4G or 5G.

Okay. You are sure? I also wrote to TP-Link (because my post was not automatically approved) - and they said: [SIZE=3] Yes, for M7650, the 2.4GHz and 5GHz WIFI can work together and when one user use 2.4Ghz, and another user can use 5Ghz at the same time.

So now I'm a bit confused

yes I am sure, on the spec it says Selectable 300Mbps at 2.4GHz or 867Mbps at 5GHz dual band Wi-Fi, and I also checked their Emilator too: http://www.tp-link.com/en/download/M7650_V1.html#Emulators You can check by yourself

Using 5 Ghz WiFi is a faster connection.

Like Nighthawk M1, the M7650 MiFi can support the 2.4G and 5GHz simultaneously.
