I tried operating the UH720 hub with two different USB 3.0 active cables 5m in length without success. Cables are Deltaco Active SuperSpeed USB micro connection cables.
The hub is recognized by the system but no devices connected are recognized. For example when I connect my Galaxy S8+ to one of the 7 ports I may load the battery but it is not recognized by the system as a USB device. Is this typical? The hub was operational with the original short cable supplied by TP-LINK.

Thanks for the help

The USB cable better no longer than three meters , or will affect the performance.
better check when the phone connect to the PC, will it be recognized as USB device
