Hello all,
I'm trying to solve this with support people but it doesn't seem to get anywhere. Also tried to search the forum and couldn't find anything. There are dozens of FAQs out there on TP-Link/Mac issues but they're all very old and didn't help at all.
I have a WA855RE extender that works perfectly with a PC but the Mac will not work with it. It's exactly as if I had the password wrong, it connects briefly but without the password window going away, then it disconnects and gives me the message of "wrong password".
I tried this procedure: http://www.tp-link.com.br/faq-407.html but not only it's the wrong model, but it's obviously outdated.
If someone can send some hints it would be very appreciated.

Thanks, the same way if I get some solution, either with or without TP-Link's people, I assure you tell you about it. Let me tell you as well, that I call them on their support phone and they didn't tell me anything else that some steps to get the warranty process done; but as I try to explain is not about the product failing, is about a MacOs and TPLink WiFi Extensors communication problem. So It seem so far we are scrubbed, and they don't care about it!

it worked for me with the new firmware. so far so good.
one more thing: if you can pass this on to whoever in the company is concerned, people in your Brazil office could not manage to help me with this at all. I just got a phone call from a support person telling me to try to solve the problem with Apple support (believe it or not). If I didn't belong to the tiny minority of your customers here who can speak English and get directly in touch with your US offices chances are I wouldn't be able to solve the problem.
