Have you already registered a tp-link account? Once you registered, you cannot use admin to log in. Use the email address you registered tp-link as the id.

No I didn't. And I can login . i'm trying to change the password, but the ones I choose get the message invalid format. So I just need to know the password rules, which I can't find anywhere.

Well, in fact, a tiny part of it helps:
What i'm looking for appears to be simple to me:
- Can I use special Characters?
- What is the minimum and maximum length of the password?
- Are spaces allowed?
- Should I use uppercase characters?
- Should I use numbers?
I tend to build strong passwords for my main accounts using a combination of all those factors . Whe I use one of my combinations I get the "inavlid format! but not the rules for a valid one. That's all I'm searching for.

Since I have no answers, I'm posting my hypothesis:
It's not possible to use special characters (!,@,#,$,%, and so on) which turns any password into a weak password. It's a shame that a new model has its kind of weakness.
Older models from TP-Link accept special characters without any trouble.

I'm not sure exactly what the requirements are for the password are, but I think the main problem is that the words "invalid format" pop up too quickly.
I don't have an Archer C60, but I have another model and had the same problem. I typed in two lower case letters and got "invalid format". I thought maybe it had to be numbers only and got "invalid format" as well. I tried looking for something that would tell me what the correct format was and found nothing.
However, I decided to use normal rules and type at least 8 characters and it worked! (No spaces)
I'm not sure what the max is, nor what the minimum is either. It may be only 6 characters. Most passwords seem to require a minimum of 6-8 characters.
However, ignore the message "invalid format" until you're done.
My 2 cents.

Generally speaking, some special characters and space can't be accepted.
More description will be good for our cusomers.
This is a good suggestion and I will email to tplink.
Hope they will improve this:)
