My configuration is pretty simple : ISP box -> Switch -> RE 500

My RE 500 is using the latest firmware : 1.0.1 Build 20170420 Rel. 33429

I use the RE 500 as an access point.

Here is the list of strange behaviours i have faced :

- Impossible to set a static address, i have no other choice than let the device obtain an address automatically. No matter what i configure on my ISP box to set a static address based on the mac address of the RE 500, the IP remains always the same after a reboot. After many tries/reset i finally get the address i had set on my ISP box, but then the RE 500 claimed it has no internet access whereas it still provided internet connection via the wifi...

- If i force a static address on the RE 500 it works but then the device claims that it doesn't have internet access again (whereas it is connected via an ethernet cable to the net as an access point). In the network section, the device show an "Unknow" connection type.

Any idea ?
