Model : VR900

Hardware Version : Archer VR900 v2 00000000
Firmware Version : 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 160928 Rel.51379n

ISP : TELSTRA

Hi all. Recently purchased Archer VR900 AC1900 Wireless Gigabit VDSL/ADSL Modem Router in Australia.

Nearly every day I have to re-boot it because my download speed drops to a crawl.

I have a very good ADSL2+ connection via Telstra, and this modem connects at
18727kbps and testing with various speed testers I usually get around 15,000kbps or slightly more download speed.
I usually can have 2 Netflix or Stan 4K streams going without it breaking a sweat, until being on for a day it grinds to a halt. I connecting via WiFi 5GHz and not getting dropouts and also I'm the only person on the channel frequency.
Firmware version is apparently the first version made... 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 160928 Rel.51379n

There doesn't appear to be any later firmware on the Australian web site, but I notice the OS sites do have updated firmware. Is this compatible with the Australian version of this modem?

Does anyone have a suggestion as to why I have to re-boot this, my previous modem used to go for months, without being re-booted?

Or should I take it back for a refund?

Cheers,

Jim
