im trying to setup the router as extender. I have two freq running on my host outer, both with the same SSID and both with the same Password.
It seems in range extension mode the router only connects to one frequency to the host router e.g. 2,4 GHz which works well. at the same time it opens a 5G wifi which is "rootSSID_5G".
i cant change the name of that or deactivate it. but i dont want to open another not used wifi, i just want to extend it. Can i deactivate one network somehow?
It dowsnt allow me to extend both the 5GHz and the 2,4GHz at the same time so what is the other network for?

the same thing happens if i cooose the 5GHz. then there is a second network "rootSSID_2.4"
