iOS TP-Link Tether App not working with Archer C1200v1 Router

The iOS Tether app is not able to discover my C1200v1 router even though my iPhone is connected to the WIFI network of the router.
It just displays "No Device Found".
The C1200v1 router is listed in the compatibility list of the app.
C1200v1 firmware version is 1.1.1 Build 20180101 rel.66049 (EU).

My tether is the same version as you. And also can find my archer C1200 router.

yes you are right but for me it was working smooth on my android phone when it was running on android version 6.0.1 however as I have updated to android version 7.1.1 whenever now I am opening the app it only loads a blank screen on the start up and crashes after a while automatically. How do I fix it?

@gulag Just factor reset the router. It worked for me. Just use a toothpick and insert it into the hole at the back of the router.
