Archer D7 (AC1750) and Google Chromecast problems
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Good morning, I have on my Archer D7 the same problem that recently seem to affect a lot of routers with Google Chromecast and Home devices.
The problem has been exposed on Android Police site: http://www.androidpolice.com/2018/01/14/google-home-max-appears-killing-wifi-networks/
I see that TP-Link already patched Archer C7 with a beta firmware upgrade, as described in this official TP-Link FAQ: http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-2050.html
Can TP-Link please extend the patch to Archer D7 too, please? Currently I have to disable the 5GHz band, otherwise the network crashes every x hours.
I already have latest firmware on my D7 and I'm using a first-generation Chromecast.
