Seeking some general advice. I have a MacBook Pro OS 10.12.6. with wifi. The modem is on the bottom floor and I am on the top. I would like to boost the wifi coverage. What is the best product for me? Can anyone advise?

powerline adapter or range extender, you'd better to contact with the support, you can choose one based on the bandwidth from your ISP
