since there is no official windows 10 driver, the windows system might have already built in its driver or will install it automatically, did you check the device manager?

I have one of those little adaptors, and the box states windows 8 compatible. I used to use it on the desktop, at WIN7 level (the driver worked fine), then upgraded the desktop to Windows 10. The software for the TP-LINK TL-WN823N seemd to migrate OK, INCLUDING the TP-LINK Wireless Configuration Utility. My suspicion is, that either the driver, or this Config Utility is stopping the Microsoft Spring (1803) update from installing properly. I managed to uninstall the driver, but NOT the config utility. Anyway, I digress, did you try the files off the CD, or do they NOT install under Win10?

I wasted 3 hours today trying to find out why it's not working... Apparently, only "v2" (and up) are supported in Windows 10: https://www.tp-link.com/us/win10compatibility.html This is unacceptable. I purchased my TL-WN823N "v1" in 2016, and while it worked fine in Windows 7, after I upgraded to Windows 10 (mainly for DirectX 12), now you're telling me that it doesn't work any more? I registered on this forum to express my severe disappointment with TP-Link, and if I can't find any viable solution TO USE THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED within the next few days or so, I'm never buying one of your products again. You will lose a client forever. Only two years of usability for your products? Really, TP-Link?
