The Decos seem to have problems with specific switches. They should really compile a list of known problematic switches. Or issue a fix.

Avoid TL-SG1008D

TL-SG1008D is buggy as hell!

We have network ~ 2000 users and reccently buy 10 TL-SG1008D.
If switch have ~ 3-4 vlans, it's take mac address from incoming port and send it back via incoming port in all vlans!
So, without port secuirty on other switches it take mac from other clients and routers and network stop responding.

Also, no mac address table to view.

Avoid this model.

tl-sg1008d doesn't support vlan so i think it will drop the vlan packets as it can't recognize the vlan tag?

I use Ubiquiti Edgerouter X (setup as switch) with 3 Deco M5 and 5 devices connected to the switch and everything works fine...

you would better contact tp-link support so they can troubleshoot as it is related to vlan.
