Is it possible for the extender to get connected to the router via ethernet cable ? I mean like an access point, not by wifi.

Hi do you mean creating a wifi hotspot by connecting the hotspot that you want to create with an ethernet cable to an existing router. If so I'm looking for the same thing and I will follow your thread, thanks

RE210 is just a range extender. RE305 has access point mode.
