Hi There, I'm hoping someone can help me connect to the Orcon network.
Since purchasing the Archer C9 I've been unable to connect to Orcon.
After a few conversations with them the only info they can give me is setting internet connection to ' Dynamic IP' , set IPTV to custom and to VLan 10 priority 0. with no IGMP or 802.1q tag. and set MTU size is 1492
I've tried mac address cloning. trying pppoe with user name and password but all without success. Orcon said there is nothing more they can do as they don't support it. Is there anyone that can help? it's Orcon NZ

You have the UFB box plugged into the wan/internet port on the router? Is it picking up the dynamic IPs? Which firmware are you running? Are you sure orcon uses vlan 10?

Hi yes as the internet light turns orange when plugged in but it doesn't pick up any IP's I've rebooted several times . I've tried different firmwares, the latest being a firmware from tp-link UK from 2016.
Firmware version is 4.1.0 Build 20160517 Release 35411.
The latest firmware from TP-link Austrailia actually omits the IPTV function so no way of using VLAN tagging at all.!!
Orcon did specify VLAN 10 along with PB Tech ( a local computer supplier) and various other searches.
Very frustrating for my wife as I've been only focusing on this all weekend HA!

I went through the exact same thing as you last wknd, this firmware works

The only thing you need to do is the settings I posted, it should just work

Did you make sure you ticked 802 tagging? It wont work if you dont tick that
