Hello,

I'm planning to buy any model of TP LINK wireless router and my purpose to have this setup is to separate the bandwidth limitation from other network to my network. Please see image FIG1. if that is capable of doing a bandwidth control and also FIG2. I only have dynamic ip on my main fiber router and doesn't have any Ethernet port. My question here is, would it be possible to use the LAN 1 of the main router to LAN1 or any LAN ports of any TP LINK wireless router? does the wireless bandwidth control will work or just bypass?

Thanks

bandwidth control only works when tp-link devices is set to router mode.
From your picture, it looks like is a lan to lan connection which means the tp-link router must be setup in AP mode. So in that mode, bandwidth control is useless.
Also if it is in router mode(default mode), it can only control the lan devices.
