Hi,

I have the TP-Link Archer C50 which slows my download speed from 25mb/s to 2,3 mb/s.

When I connect my PC to the modem directly with cable, I get a 25mb/s download speed on Steam.
When I connect my router to the modem and connect my pc to the router with a cable, my download speeds top on 2,3 mb/s.

I have absolutely no clue why. Even when I disable the WiFi-network the download speed remains 2,3 mb/s.

Any solutions/suggestions?

How about reset the router?
Only one pc is connecting to the router when you are testing the speed?

I also faced similar problem. It seems like others also got this issues
upload speed is ok.
Only download cut but almost half
