This wifi-adapter always gave me some problems with Windows 10 but this time I'm struggling to find a solution. After the 1803 windows 10 update, the adapter gets randomly disconnected from the PC. The device becomes unknown for an instand and gets immediately recognized after. Sometimes it will not be recognized anymore until I physically unplug it from the PC. I noticed some additional facts: - it happens often after an intensive use of the connection and when i'm not downloading anything. For example, it happens after playing online or when I'm reading some article. - only on my 5GHz network. On the 2.4 it's fine. I already disabled the power managment of the wifi adapter. I think it's a driver problem and hope they'll fix it soon...

https://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?101991-Archer-T4UH-V1-T4UH-V2-T9UH-Driver-Unofficial-Version-Windows-32-and-64-bit Have you tried this driver? Tested to work fine with 1709, not sure about 1803. I have a newer version that might work better, but I found it to be less stable.

Yes, I've tried that too but it hasn't solved the issue.

I'm on 1803 now, using my driver. Working fine. Looks like your adapter is faulty, but should be under warranty.

And you've tried the unofficial driver?

Fixed drops for me. I'm across the house with full signal and no issues.
