Hello,
After April Windows 10 update SMB V1 is disabled and notsupported anymore and now I can't see my shared folders from the USB disk thatI have connected to the router. Is there any way to activate SMB V2 or V3 inthe router so I can see the share folders on my USB disk again?
Thank you
Juan

I have the same router (C5400 v.2) running the most latest firmware (1.2.2 Build 20170912 rel.56240(5553)). The drive I have attached to the USB port on the router functions as it should - I can see the shared folders just fine. It's probably a setting in Windows 10 that needs adjustment - not the router.

@
gandalf1369 are you sure you are using Windows 10 with the latest April update? because everything was working before that and it was still possible to add SMBv1, but after April update is completely disabled.

You don't want to add it mate, there's a good reason MS did away with it, you need a solution to make it work with later editions, hth.

Until there is another solution you can turn SMb v1 on:
Open the Windows Control Panel
Go to Programs and Features
Go to Turn Windows Features on or off
Select SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support
Reboot your Windows machine.
