I had my modem replaced and the rage extender does no longer pick up the modem signal. I tried resetting etc, but nothing worked so far. Please advise.

Firstly, make sure your modem's wifi is working properly.
Try to change wireless channel of the modem WiFi.
move it closer to your modem to configure it.
