I'm a bit lost.

On the back of the router it says:

AC750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router

Model: Archer C2
Ver: 1.1

I live in Israel and bought it from a local store.

I want to upgrade my firmware, so I searched on the website and got here: https://www.tp-link.com/il/download/archer-c2_V1.html#Firmware

Do you see the issue? The website calls it AC900, while what I have is AC750. Either way, I tried downloading the latest (and even the oldest) firmware, but they both gave me the same error when I tried to install them:
Error code: 4503The uploaded file was not accepted by the device.

I've also tried the US version. The website warns in MASSIVE RED WRITING not to use another region's firmware, but I tried it anyway, because at least the American site called Archer C2 AC750. https://www.tp-link.com/us/download/Archer-C2_V1.html#Firmware

Needless to say, this didn't work either.

The current firmware version is the same that it came with: [LEFT][COLOR=#000000][FONT="Arial"]0.9.1 1.0 v0032.1 Build 150327 Rel.45223n
I really want to upgrade it because I haven't been able to connect to IPv6 and I think this may be the issue (some of the change notes mention it).

Any help would be appreciated.

I think you should contact TP-Link support as they may have firmware that can send you. It may be a Beta version. I have a C8 and getting IPv6 to work took a lot of playing around to get the settings set so it would work.

I don't even know what he tried to say in the last one.

Credit where credit is due: response time was fast compared to what I'm used to with other companies. But it still doesn't help me... Any advice?

About the AC750 and AC900, V1 is AC750 and other version is AC900.
If you can't update the V1 firmware from il official website, perhaps your current firmware is special version.
In that case, we can't update the firmware on the website.

Or you can confirm whether your current version is also EU version, you may check the label on the bottom of the router.
If it's not the corresponding version, I'm afraid you can only keep the current firmware.

New firmware versions are posted atis no need to upgrade the firmware unless the new firmware has a new feature you want touse. However, when experiencing problems caused by the router rather than theconfiguration, you can try to upgrade the firmware
