Hello guys.

I just bought a TL-WR841N.

Its hardware version is WR814N v10 00000000
Its firmware version is 3.16.9 Build 150408 Rel.39466n PT-BR

I connected it to my modem/router and it's working both from its RJ45 ports and WiFi. I tested my phone on WhatIsMyIp and it reported the modem ISP, not 4G ISP, good.

But WR841N is placing everything connected to it, regardless of RJ45 or WiFi, on its own NAT, 192.168.0.0/24 and not on my router NAT, 192.168.20.0/24. That's very troublesome, because my PCs on 192.168.20.0/24 can't reach my WiFi devices.

I was able to change WR841N's LAN IP and that changed its subnet, but when I try to place it on modem's subnet it fails with error "5008 try again". That's probably because WR841N is working as a router and not as bridge.

A real example. WR841N is currently using 192.168.1.0/24 with LAN IP (as gateway) 192.168.1.1 and WAN IP 192.168.20.12.

I have my laptop connected to WR841N over UTP and it got IP 192.168.1.100. Internet is working on it and I'm able to ping my PC 192.168.20.10 connected directly to modem.

From PC I'm also able to ping WR841N on IP 192.168.20.12. But I can't reach my laptop or anything inside 192.168.1.0/24.

That's creating 2 physical LANs at my home, and obviously I don't want some devices unreachable to others. The most relevant need is for PC to reach my phone, so that I use its WiFi Keyboard app (Android) and use PC's keyboard to type on the phone.

I could use port forwarding so that connections to 192.168.20.12:8000 be redirected to phone:80. I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure if it will work. But I'd rather not have to handle it for every need and just have my WiFi devices inside my modem's LAN/NAT/subnet directly.

Even worse. I just tried from my PC to connect to WR841N to manage it and it was rejected. That means I can't config it from my PC, I'll need to use my laptop from UTP ou WiFi!
