A similar query already posted but didn't resolve problem.

Gone through setup and reset several times. TP-Link shows on WiFi networks before setup (Option 2). Once setup is complete it disappears. The Extender 'management page' identifies this Mac and an iPad.

Setup done close to router, RE light steady post setup and 'full bars' of 2.4GHz signal. Mac restarted just in case.

Any suggestions?

Hey, the range extender wifi name will disappear once it has been installed successfully.
It will turn into the same wifi name as your main router.
You will no longer to see TP-Link~
