I have Archer c2 ac750 router broken and I tried to flash the latest firmware "Archer C2(EU)_V1_170207" using tftpd64, after it finished transferring the firmware I waited for 8 min and then I power it manually off and on. After that I got the power LED only turned on and I am unable to access the router settings since the connection is not able to have an IP address and I have tried to set as static (192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) but with no luck.

I tried to hookup a WAN connection and I got the LAN ports working as a bridge (I got an IP address from the WAN connection to LAN ports). But I still cant access the router settings.

I tried to hard reset the router by holding the reset button while power it off and on and I got no results. But when I power it on while holding the reset button the internet LED blinks only once.

Is there any solution or guide to have my router work again. Thank you.

Is it possible to flash the firmware through UART?

Does the firmware update successfully before you power if off?

If yes, there should be no problem with the operation.

If the udpate hasn't been finished and you power it off, it may destroy the device.

Try to power it off for more than half an hour and login again. good luck..

I have tried to leave it for many hours, but nothing happens. Also, I found that all Ethernet ports behind the router are working as a network switch, and I still cant access the settings or hard reset the router.

Since you can get valid ip address from the router, try to email tp-link support to do some further troubleshooting.
