I was wondering if it was possible for the Deco to recognize devices connected to the Ethernet ports. We tried to set up time controls on our family’s gaming console but it seems that by simply plugging the console directly into a Deco unit’s Ethernet port, the Deco no longer recognizes the console as a separate connected unit that can be controlled by parental controls. Is there a setting/control that I am not aware of?. Thanks.

Is it still on the parental control list?

or other devices under the list can be still controlled properly?

There shouldn't be no any other settings we need to aware.

Since the game console is on an Ethernet connection and not on a wifi connection, it does not appear on the devices list and therefore can't be added to my son's profile. Can devices that are connected via an Ethernet cable appear on the devices list?

hey, no matter how you connect the device to Deco, it will show on the list.

make sure you do connect it to Deco unit via an ethernet cable succcessfully.

Besides, check whether you set static IP address on game console.

If yes, change it back to obtain ip address automatically.
