Router TL-WR941HP ver2.0 - Incompatible with Multicast/Chromecast?
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version : 2.0.0 Build 20171127 Rel. 62435
ISP :
I received this router 2 days ago and I'm already having problems with it. I noticed that even with Chromecast connected to my Wi-Fi network, it's not recognized in any supported apps (youtube, hbo go, netflix). It only works if I reboot the router, but if after that I unplug the Chromecast and turn it back on, the problem appears again. This did not happen to me when I used the TL-WR941ND. Do you know what could be wrong?
*The TP-Link Brazil Support Center said that this router is incompatible with the Multicast function, so it doesn't work with Chromecast. That's true?
*I've tried support with Google, but they could not identify the problem.
(I'm sorry if I wrote something wrong in english...)

Enfim, usei algumas dicas e utilizei a opção Modo Visitante no Chromecast e estou usando assim.
Fiz o seguinte:
-configurei o Chromecast nesta Rede Convidados.

Hello everyone,
I have had the same problem with both Chromecast and my Samsung Smart TV. After trying a lot of tutorials, now it seems that my Chromecast issue has been finally solved. But my TV still not working well. It works for a short period, but then disappear again. I gave up my TV because I can use its remote control yet.
These are the settings that worked for my Chromecast. In fact I’m not sure which one or ones need to be combined, because I had tried a lot of settings. At the end, my problem has been finally solved when I changed the MTU size to 1412. But I’m not in the mood to reset my settings again to see if changing only the MTU would work. So I suggest you to start by it.
PS: My router’s language is in Portuguese, maybe my translation of the settings is not exactly.
My router’s firmware is: 2.0.1 Build 20180305 Rel. 54795;
Advanced -- Network -- Internet -- Advanced
-
MTU Size = 1412
Advanced -- Network -- IPTV
-
IGMP Proxy = Disable
-
Wireless Multicast Addressing = Enable
-
All other options Disabled. They might be by standard.
Advanced -- Network -- DHCP Server
-
Reserve the IP Address for your Chromecast and by adding it in the Address Book. I actually have reserved the IP for all my devices.
Advanced -- Wireless Settings
-
Security = WPA/WPA2
-
Version = WPA2-PSK
-
Cryptography = AES
-
Channel = try one that better works for you, I chose the channel 11.
Advanced -- Network for Guests -- Settings
-
Allow guests to see each other = Enable
-
Allow guests to access my local network = Enable
Advanced -- Advanced Settings -- Access control
-
Access control = Disable
-
Guest Device Control = Disable
Advanced -- NAT Addressing -- UPnP
-
UPnP = Enable
Advanced -- System Tools -- System Parameters
-
AP Isolation = Disable
Hope I can help you with those settings. :)
Update: Forgot to mention that I've set my router to reboot every day at an hour that I'm not using it.

Hi,
This beta file is hosted at Sea File.
Is it safe?
Is that http://support.tp-link.com/accounts/login/?next=/ official from TP-Link?
