ARCHER T4U SLOW SPEED please help

I have archer t4u v1 hookled up to my main machine wich is connected to ethernet via cable any way i start a 5ghz hotspot to connect to my phone
the speed starts at 170 mbps and then drops to 57 mbps is this normal ?? i tried the unofficial release and other releases but no luck
using windows 10
