dropping wifi Deco M5
dropping wifi Deco M5
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
We have installed 3 Deco M5's, all are connected to the network using cable, used them for two months now. Our computer is connected using cable and is working fine.
Everything worked fine until just recently when all other devices using wifi (phones, ipad, Sonos sound system) started to have problems.
Wifi drops and we can be sitting side by side to each other and one of us having wifi and the other is just stuck...not able to connect to wifi.
Waiting a few minutes or turning wifi off and on the phone usually helps.
Music dies now and then when using our Sonos System. All this drives us crazy.
Anyone have any suggestion?

@Long515 I'm having the exact same problem. Running firmware 1.2.11 so unfortunately your fix will not help me :-(

I'm having this exact same problem with a brand new set of E4 (x3). Firmware up to date with 1.1.1
I've contacted TP-link and shared with them this forum link, but they do not seem to recognise this as a known problem.
Like others, I will probably return them since I can't get a solution out of TP-link at the moment...

I'm having the same problem recently. Wifi drops hard for a few minutes, but wired connections are perfectly fine. But this is of course on a much newer firmware build (1.4.4).

Same here. Firmware 1.4.4 and some devices keeps disconnecting.
Could be a problem with this last firmware?
Can we get old versions to test?
