Deco M9 is slowing down my home network (Fritzbox 5490)
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have a fiber connection with a Fritzbox 5490 as modem/router. I've connected the Deco M9 to one of the LAN ports, and it work. Connected the other Deco points and it still worked. Later that evening when I watched TV (it is connected with a settopbox which is connected with ethernet directly to the Fritzbox) it started to stutter and finally stopped.
I tried using switches to lower the amount of devices on the Deco M9, but every time that there is a little more load on the Wifi network (mind you, 2 of the deco's are connected with ethernet to the Fritzbox (one through a switch), my internet connection comes to a stop... I'm not downloading, just browsing, using e-mail, watching TV. As soon as I pull the switch from the Deco M9, my internet is back online.
I have a 100Mb up and down, gigabit ethernet through the home.
What am I doing wrong?
