Online sound distortion when connected to TP-Link network

Hi.
Since I bought my TP.Link WR841N router a couple of weeks ago I've been having the same issue on my laptop: When I play online audio (like Youtube and Spotify) sound is distorted every 1 or 2 minutes. The thing is that when I connect to the modem upstairs (I bought the router due to poor signal), sound works great. I have reinstalled/updated my drivers and nothing happened. Any ideas?
