I'm trying to do this by the internet, and get an error: "Internet is unavailable."

same here, no longer works after using the Archer 3150 in "access point" mode. Works in "router" mode.

 

Very weird, definitely a bug.

Check your device time settings. For some reason my C3150 reverted to a date in 2017. Resyncing the clock to PC fixed this Internet is unavailable error for me.
