I'm running a TP-Link AC 600 / Archer T2U on a DELL XPS 15 (windows 10 / using drivers from the supplied CD) and for a couple of days it's been randomly connecting and disconnecting but rather than dropping a signal I've been getting the you have removed/inserted a USB item. Yesterday it was doing it constantly and the only way I could get it to connect for more than a few seconds was to alternate between two USB ports until it decided not to connect at all. This morning when I booted up the computer the USB ports that I was using last night are completely dead. Nothing registers in them, even things that work quite happily in my one remaining USB port. Is this a known problem? Is there anything I can do to resurrect the ports that the adapter has killed?
