AC1600 Modem Router over heating

I have bought a new AC1600 Wireless Gigabit VDSL/ADSL Modem Router (V2). I have connected the device and everything is working great for over 2 weeks. When I touch the device it is very warm. I would like to know if the heat this device generates considered normal, or is there something wrong with device.
