The games (diablo 3) connected to the router wired or wirelessly? When the games drop put, what do you do to get it back to work? Besides the games, your other devices are connected fine with internet?

Thanks for your attention. The game is connected by wireless. After disconnecting, I need to reconnect. I have another devices which are connected fineExcept MacBook Air (2011) can only connect to 2GHz not 5GHz.

from TP-LINK website, i found some newer firmware which solved some bugs, you can upgrade your router with new firmware to have a try,

Modifications and Bug Fixes: Fixed the incompatible issue with some certain wireless adapters and improved the wireless stability.

Yes, I've upgraded the firmware and everything is working smoothly. I still have one concern and that is 5GHz seems to have a weaker signal strength than 2.5GHz. Is this normal?

Not so sure. :)But as search online , 5G is working on higher frequency which is more attenuated than 2.4G

Sky, I suggest you try changing the MTU size on the WAN configuration and see if it helps. (I am not sure where is the problem, but just try :))
