Hi

I have read how to configure the Virtual Servers - Forwarding ( http://www.manualowl.com/m/TP-Link/TL-WR1042ND/Manual/275049 )

and added two entries, one for port 44612 and one for 32680 , my pc ip is 192.168.0.100

but its not working

I tested it using the http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
What could be the problem ?

Before I installed the router (my pc was connected directly to the lan connection) all was working just fine

And I double checked that the ports are not being blocked by firewall

Regards

Daniel.

What is connected to the WAN port of the router? If it is an modem router or another router, the port may be blocked by the other router.
What is the WAN address of the TL-WR1042ND?

The wan of the router is connected to V.O.B (voice over broadband) modem which is connected to my cable modem

before I had the router my pc was connected to the V.O.B (voice over broadband) modem which is connected to my cable modem and I had no issues with my emule at all

Lan address of router is IP Address : 192.168.0.1

is there a way to be sure that router is indeed opened the required (for emule) ports?

How about WAN IP address of TL-WR1042ND? If it is a private one, you need to open ports on your modem for the router as well.
