Hi, I have an Archer C7 router (hardware version: Archer C7 v4.0, firmware version: 1.0.7 Build 20180425 rel.62587(5553)). I am trying to change the password.

If I go to Advanced > System Tools > Administration, I briefly see the password change and recovery form for about 0.25 seconds, and then that segment of the administration page vanishes, leaving behind only "local management" and "remote management."

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

Try to use an ethernet connection on a PC from router. Then access www.tplinkwifi.net and try to enable the password recovery.

Download the latest firmware here Archer C7(US)_V4_180425 and manually update it. Try using Internet explorer.
