My setup:

NetGear R6300 ---> 2.4G Wi-Fi ---> TL-WA850RE ---> ethernet cable ---> Asus laptop(Windows 10)

 

Previously with TL-WA850RE(EU)_V5_180228 firmware download speed with torrent was up to 10Mb/s.

After I updated firmware to TL-WA850RE(EU)_V5_181107 speed has become 3-5Mb/s for the same torrent files.

 

I dicided to roll back to TL-WA850RE(EU)_V5_180228.

It seems on my side, it's fine, after you upgrade the new firmware , have you tired to reset and reconfigure it? You can also try to sue good cable , Cat5e cable is recommended.

Sorry, don't get you. And I think it is not fine :)

Yes, after I discovered download speed reduction. I reseted router(NetGear) and extender, did not help.

Which parameter should be reconfigured? The configuration was the same.

Yes, I'am using Cat5e(4m). The same cable as I used before.

 

So it is a regression on the new firmware version.
