The speed test on my Archer C5400 v2 has never worked.  Running it returns 0 Mbps up and down, and suggests streaming may be "limited."   No history of tests is kept.  I'm running my router through an Arris SB8200 cable modem on the Xfinity Tier 4 (400 Mbps down, nominal). cable network.  Xfinity's browser accessible speed test does work for me.

It it possible that the speed test of my router is not compatible with the Xfinity network I'm currently using?

only the speedtest is not working ? How about the internet, if you connect to the wifi or hardwared to C5400, can you browser? I recommended you to go to a speedtest website and test the speed, www.speedtest.net
