The US firmware has some nice updates like Added SMBv2 support. Now that Microsoft deprecated SMBv1 a while back, it is something that recently released routers should be getting support for. Why five months behind on the same router?

For what I have been able to find, the Archer C2300 model is also the most recently released home/SOHO router product from TP-Link?

Other than that I really like my C2300.

Checking into the router config today I was notified of an update firmware "2.0.3 Build 20180810 Rel. 62903" for the C2300 EU model. I didn't copy the update notes but SMBv2 support was at the top of the list. It's not published on the web site yet.
