Issues with AP Mode with Deco M9+
Hello,
Once the Deco M9+ is setup in Access Point, it looks like that the implementation is not complete: Broadcast is not fully functional (conflict with Homekit device registration, CPL management from Devolo).
Also, I noticed that the built-in speedtest provides significant difference (920 Mbit/s in Routeur Mode 600 Mbit/s in AP Mode)
I was expecting that the AP mode should allow to see all devices, including broadcast. Ping is ok (nothing is blocked). Coud it be the routing table not fully updated/implemented?
Here a simplified network:
- Fiber Modem with ip 192.168.0.1
- Main Routeur (Synology RT2600AC) with ip 192.168.1.1 and DHCP
- Primary CPL (no ip)
- Secondary CPL with ip 192.168.1.10
- Computer A with ip 192.168.1.100
- Computer B with ip 192.168.1.101
- Secondary CPL with ip 192.168.1.10
- Deco M9+ Primary (AP Mode)
- Computer C with ip 192.168.1.102
- Deco M9+ Secondary
- Computer D with ip 192.168.1.103
- Apple TV with 192.168.1.104
- Computer E with ip 192.168.1.105
- Primary CPL (no ip)
- Main Routeur (Synology RT2600AC) with ip 192.168.1.1 and DHCP
Ping is ok from all devices. Register a device (homekit based with wifi from Deco) is not allowed/working.
Computer C or D cannot broadcast CPLs. Computer A or B or E can see CPLs
