I just bought TL-WR840N and i am factory reset it by pressing the buttom. Does factory reset revert your firmware version to default version ?

This is my firmware version after factory reset (screenshot). Is this latest version ?

Go to the TP-Link website and find your router model and country to see what the latest firmware for your router. Note that what is on the website and what is displayed on your device will appear different (at least in the US). Compare what appears to be a date like 180614 for a match.
